starting over

I am brand new to WordPress. I installed WordPress using Bitnami and I think it was working fine until I tried to copy some HTML and CSS files into the folder. I clobbered something and things were not looking like I expected so I deleted the WordPress folder,uninstalled Bitnami and reinstalled but things still look wrong. When I view the site I can tell by the content that it still has my old HTML code somewhere. I would like a fresh start but am not sure how to go about it properly. Also, when I go into PHPmyAdmin under databases all I see is ‘information_schema’ and ‘tests’ but I am unsure what, if anything, I need to do there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
