Display Excerpt with short code

    Is there a way to use the testimonial short code, and have the excerpt output along with a read more link?

    We are using the shortcode to add a testimonial within a page’s content, but some of them testimonials are rather long.

    Thank, so far this plug is in the best testomonial plug in I have used!

    Hey there!

    Thanks so much for the positive feedback! It is much appreciated.

    You should be able to use the Excerpt (or a shortened version of the body content, if you don’t have an excerpt set), with the following syntax:
    [random_testimonial show_title="1" use_excerpt="1"]

    The important part is use_excerpt="1" – you should be able to add that to your shortcode to do what you need.
