In later versions of WP, hover over the theme thumbnail, click “theme details” and then “delete” at the bottom.

I tried that and all I get is activate and live preview. Im using 3.8.1 Thanks
“Delete” is all the way over on the right.

Thank you so very much. I was not opening them, but right clicking which didn’t work. They are gone now.
