• I was wondering if there were any plugins that somehow got around the flickr upload limit…It seems that flickr manages to keep photos on file even though they’re removed from photostream. Are there any flickr gallery plugins that somehow manage to remember photos after they’re removed from the stream?

  • As far as I am aware, flickr measures the amount of bandwidth you use each month, not the amount of total diskspace. I may be wrong about that though.

Basically, if the limit is 10MB per month, and you upload ten photos of 1 MB each, your bandwidth for that month is 10 MB, so you’ll need to wait until the next month, even if you delete photos.

Unfortunately, since that’s set by flickr, and is enforced on their servers, there’s no way of getting around it.

There are two different limits set by flickr; one is the upload limit which you mention. The other limit is that they only include your most recent 200 photos in your photostream – the others are stored but not linked to anywhere.
