    Hi,
    I am new to wordpress, so forgive me if my question sounds really stupid.
    Since I am not very familiar with PHP and mySql, so I have someone install wordpress for me.
    As I play with the wordpress setting the other day, I realize I am
    missing certain features on my dashboard. I wonder if the wordpress is installed on my server? Or is it just a wordpress.com account?
    What do I need to do if I want to install it on myserver?

    do u have a link ?

    to install it on your server you just need 2 have the databse info and just run the script .

    if you are on wordpress.com there is not a lot of thing you could do except post ..

    we need more info to help you better …

    Can we have a link to your site? Then we’ll be able to tell you what kind of site you have.

    If you’re missing options from the Dashboard, it’s possible that the account you’re logging into WordPress with doesn’t have full administrator rights. You might want to check that with whoever set it up for you.
