Self-Linking and page anchors

Self-Linking is turned off.
But, if I have anchors on page (<h3 id=”anchor’>) it will link to itself.Example: Anchor Text = here
Destination = http://home.com#anchorExpected result would be that when visiting http://home.com#anchor the text ‘here’ would not have an auto-link but it does.
Is there a work-around?
