Customizing excerpt display

Hello everybody,

I’m in the process of developing my wordpress blog. On my front page, I display just the excerpts of my posts.

All of my excerpts are small images and I’d like to be able to have them arranged horizontally in rows rather than as one long column. I can’t seem to be able to figure out how to do that.

Is there a plug-in, or (even better) some code I can add to my loop to make this work?
