• I kept on getting errors that some files are missing, even though I downloaded and unzipped files from wordpress, and that I should delete object-cache.php.

On further investigation, I think in the define.php the paths you’re defining using realpath don’t seem to be working on my dedicated debian wheezy. As you’ll see in the following link, the logs are returning WP_PLUGIN_DIR as a constant instead of expected translated/ defined value for the constant – http://screencast.com/t/xHOCliSsAy

Has anyone else had this issue?

I tried reinstalling the plugin for the 3rd time in an attempt to isolate the issue. On my system, it seems to generate aforementioned errors only when I enable object caching.
