Need a separate two step registration plugin

    Hi,

    So my requirement is that i need a plugin which has a two part registration process. Also this plugin should not interfere with the default User interface in the backend of the wordpress.

    Part 1 will contain creation of account by collecting email and password. Successfull completion of this will send an email to the emailid registered.
    Part 2 will contain collectiong some info about the user registered after he has logged in.
    This user should not be registered in the default user section of the backend of the site.

    Has anyone done such a work before or is there any plugin which has similar functions like this. Please help me. Its urgent.
