Protected entries cannot be commented

hi.

i currently used this theme (http://berkano.net/files/wp/tiny/) as my blog design. however, i found out that when i protect my entry (password entry), reader unable to comment it. when reader click “comment” link, it’ll appear “This post is password protected. Enter the password to view comments”, instead of comment box.

however, i try to switch to another theme, but this problem not happen.

anything wrong with the coding of the theme? i’ll try to seek help from the owner of the theme, but seems no response.
