Seamgarden. Did you make a page with the short codes and publish it?
I’m about to test this on a demo site…I’ll see if I can help ya.
I am having the same problem. I am not sure what shortcodes I should be using.
Same issue here!
Only 4 of my etsy items was imported out of 53
Where are the items going to be listed?
Do I need a specific page for the items to show?
What shortcode do we need to use?
I am having simliar issues. I get 25 products imported out of 350. And what are the basic shortcodes so I can display items on the site?
The specific short codes are working for the 25. Put I wasn’t thinking I would have to build each page individually.
The shortcodes are all listed on the plugin description page as well as in the readme: https://wordpress.org/plugins/etsy-importer/
The slug for the custom post type registered is ‘products’ so you can see the archive of your posts at yourdomain.com/products/
I’ve not had an issue with products not all importing. I’ve just pushed v1.1.0 which is compatible up to WP4.1. It also adds a cron job to automatically pull in new products daily.
If you are still experiencing an issue with products not importing in full, please let me know.
Thanks!
Hi,
This plugin is working great for me, the only issue is that products do not import in full. Do you know why can that be?
Thanks a lot!
I’m currently working on this; in my building and testing, I was apparently using smaller stores with fewer items. By default, when accessing the Etsy API you are presented with 25 results. We’re reworking the code now to page through the returned results to import every available product in your store.
thank you, i’ll make you a donation with gratitude!
Version 1.2.0 has been pushed and should resolve your issues.
In my testing, we are now able to pull in your shop’s entire stock rather than hitting the 25 result wall and stopping.
Let me know if this resolves your issues and we can close out. Thanks again for using the plugin!
hi,
as others i do have problems with products not showing up, or better said i have not the faintest idea how to put them into a page.
[product_link id=569] where do you get the id from?
The ID is your post ID. The products are imported as posts in the Products custom post type. When you click on a post to edit it, you will see the ID in the URL in the address bar.
Please do not piggyback onto another user’s task; it makes it harder to track the issues users are having.
I’ve not heard back from the original poster since the new version has been updated, so I’m going to move this to Resolved. If they respond with an update on their status and it is not resolved, we can go from there.
Thanks.
