    Hello,

I’m writing were because I have already tried everything I know!
I already have my wordpress setup in Portuguese from Portugal (pt_PT files) and my “events manager” plugin only shows some lines translated on dashboard.
I would like to see translated the “submit an event”, for registered members, translated to portuguese… besides the is way (pt_PT files) is there any other way to translate this?
I have already thought in translating the .php files but I really don’t which the correct one.
    Can someone help me, please?

(PS: at this moment I’m also Improving the portuguese translation to submit later).

    Cheers,
    Sérgio

  • Hi Sérgio,

I am using WPML plugin for making my site multilingual, and events manager can be fully translated with it! Even though it’s a paid plugin, I’m definitely happy having it. It may help you too.

    Good Luck,

    Hello, Viktoria.

    Thank you for your answer.
Can I ask you how are you doing that?
That software recognizes “events manager” forms and automatically translate it?
AND though I have my website in Portuguese and the “event submit forms” are in English, this software helps too?

    Thank is advance.

    Regards,
    Sérgio

I appreciate Viktoria’s help (and I’ll try the software). But If someone could help me with the Events Manager specifically (like .php to edit or how to translate it without other programs) I would be very grateful. 🙂

    Thanks

    Hi,
So once you have the WPML plugin, you can also download an extra plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager-wpml/ it’s free.

So you need to purchase to full version of WPML and please get familiar through their website. You translate every single string and element with wpml. It requires some time and work, but it works great, I am happy with it. I am not a professional, but was able to it on my own.

I’d suggest to research wpml before you buy it to make sure this is what you really need.

    Viktoria
