Customize menu’s

For a weblog project I want the users to see as little as possible.

Example:
In the “Write” interface there are a lot of sidemenu’s like “Slug” “Catagory” “Password” etc (all the fold out menu’s on the left) and the “Trackback” etc..

Is there a way to remove these items from the interface? Basicly all I want is a title field and the field for the blog content…
