How to get my posts etc back

I had very old version of WP and Weaver theme. After webhost switched me to PHP 5.4 I got blank pages in Admin view on my blog.
I did not know if PHP was the reason or not.
Since I had backup files, I installed WordPress all over again.
I also installed the Theme Weaver II.
Now I got my posts etc. from the backup file to show in phpMyAdmin but they do not show on my blog.
My host is Bluehost.
One thing I noticed only later is that I used by accident different user name than in my first time loading WP back in 2010…
I know I propably did not do all that I was supposed to, just loading WP again over the old files… Still, if anyone can figure out how to help me, would really appreciate it.
Did I loose my plugins, as I did not see a file for them…
