• hello I am anikesh brahma
    after installing the Custom Content Type Manager plugin i was very happy with the plugin i did everything as mentioned in the setting but after publishing a custom page on custom content plugin eg movie it redirected me to 404 error page even after uploading the theme file to desired ftp url . i unable to rectify the error
    Plz help me out solve this issue

  • I had the same problem.
    I looked like this:
    I have Custom Post Type “Product”
    and when I was trying to display single post from this Post Type I received 404 error.
    I was trying different Themes but the problem was the same.
    I was trying using different WordPress versions (3.8.1 and 3.7.1) – all the same.
    Then I started changing settings in Custom Post Type.

    Cause of the problem: Custom Post Type set to Hierarchical.

    Temporary Solution: go to Fields tab of your Custom Post Type and uncheck “Page attributes” and “Hierachical”

    I think i found the solution to the problem itz actually because of two plugin one ‘Wp total Cache’ & the second plugin ‘plugin genius’
    Try deactivating the plugin and after that creating custom fields can help you solve the issue
