Steve,
I am sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this MLA feature. When you say “has disappeared“, do you mean that the Quick Edit link no longer appears in the rollover actions for items on the Media/Assistant submenu table? Or, do you mean that when you click it nothing happens or the area shows up blank or something else?
Sometimes you have to press the “Refreah” button on the browser to completely/cleanly reload the page (very rare).
If the link does not appear atall, remember that it is only present on the MLA Media/Assistant screen, not the WordPress Media/Library screen; I’ve made that mistake in the past.
If you give me more information I can be more helpful. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

Hi David
thanks for the quick response. I’ve been using MLA for over six months now and this seems to have happened since last nights automatic update to 3.8.1
In the MLA view the rollover actions no longer appear. I’ve tried resetting to the default within the settings, clearing browser caches etc. Restarting, rebooting and alternative browsers as I say. I’ve also gone through turning on and off various options of display within MLA but still no change.
Very strange behaviour as it was working to start with. I literally left my machine after half an hour of editing, to go for something to eat. On my return nada, nothing, zilch – bugger all 🙂
Bugger all, indeed 🙁
I just updated to 3.8.1 and, of course, it’s working fine on my test system. It’s pretty simple code and I can’t see how it would go wrong.
The only thing I can suggest would be for me to access your site and do some testing myself. If you’re willing to set up an Author or Administrator account for me, send the credentials by using the “Contact Us” page on our web site:

I know that may not be possible and I completely understand. Thanks for your patience, persistence and understanding.

Thanks for the kind offer David.
Details, as requested, in separate emails.
I can’t remember if I said that I’ve also tried deactivating all plugins except for MLA as well, and as a final check, I tried logging in on a completely different machine (PC rather than Mac) to eliminate the obvious.
Good luck and thanks again.
Steve
Thank you for the vote of confidence and for your messages. Unless I’ve missed it, I still need the URL of your site before I can follow up. You can reply to the e-mail I sent back to you at the address you provided.
The rollover actions are only added to the left-most of the following columns: ID/Parent, Title/Name, Title or Name. If you have eliminated all four of those columns, you won’t get the rollover actions.
I am happy that restoring one or more of those columns to your Media/Assistant submenu table restored the rollover actions and resolved the problem.
Thanks again for your help in getting to the bottom of this issue, and for your interest in the plugin.
