• Since I’ve started to have some problems with spam, I decided to activate Askimet. But I can’t. I get a note that I need to enter the API key. But when I try to enter the “Askimet Configuration”-page, I get this:

    “ara.awardspace.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 107

Warning: fgets(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/www/solsara.awardspace.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 108

Warning: feof(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/www/solsara.awardspace.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 107″

And that two last lines go on and on and on forever and ever.

What’s wrong? Someone knows an easy way to fix it? I really don’t even know where to start look..

  • easy way? open your ftp client, connect to your site, traverse your directories until you are in wp-content/plugins/, delete the askimet folder.

    done.
