Archive/Category Sort Plugin

I know that I can put a widget in my sidebar that allows people to select categories and I can add one that allows people to select dates but is there any way to combine that? Is there a plugin out there that would allow someone to come to my site and select “Hiking and Backpacking” (a category) and then select “January 2014” (a date archive) so that it will show them posts in the “Hiking and Backpacking” category from January 2014?
