However what I activated the 2014 theme I am still having the same issue!
I am reinstalling wordpress 3.8 to see if that does anything!
Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

it was the GB Gallery Slideshow Plugin causing the issue!

Hello all,
I have just created a new blog and running the genesis framework on it with a child theme!
I set it up the same as my other blog which works perfectly but for some reason there is no comment box showing up and all I get when I click on the leave a comment link is mysite.com/post-link/#respond
I have tried everything from changing the permalink structure and clearing the cache everytime I did as well as logging out but it’s still not showing up!
I have even tries activating the genesis framework theme itself but it still is not showing up!
Any ideas guys? Any help would be more than grateful!
