won't let me edit post

    arg. i’ve never had tech difficulties until 24 hours ago and now it’s driving me batty! hoping someone can help me here…

    I have several “test” posts that i have since deleted, but they were still showing up on blog readers, and from research that i did on the matter it seemed my best option was to restore the deleted posts (they were still in the trash) and either delete the content so they would be empty posts, or replace the content with a new posting. there are more test posts than i can fill with new content right now, so i need to just delete the content of several of them.

    i have restored them all, but when i try to delete the post title, post content, and tags, it’s just not letting me. as soon as i hit the update button it brings all of the content back. is there something i’m doing wrong?

    the only entry i need to keep right now is “all in the follow-through”.

    update: in the meantime, it is letting me update the posts with just a period for the title and a period for the content (does it maybe not let you publish empty posts?) so i’m doing that for the moment.

    oh good grief. now i’m pulling my hair out. i’ve edited each post (except my one real post) to delete images, delete titles, delete tags, delete the old slug, and replace the content with a period, but the live page is a mess. it’s not reflecting many of the changes. still showing images, and it’s displaying some bizarre text in the content boxes. arrrrggg.
