import post from sql files to new wordpress instalation

    hi
    i need help for importing post from previous custom cms blog..im dump from phpmyadmin and its give me file in .sql extention ,i only need the post since it has around 1125 post i think its going to be time consuming if i copy paste …so how do i do this right way..
