To clarify:
Are you saying that when you go to Admin >> Presentation >> Themes you can see your current theme: gurumanager there? When you click it to make it your current theme, it acknowledges on that page that it is your current theme?
Then, when you go to Presentation >> theme editor you can see the list of files on the right side of the page that relate to gurumanager theme?
Under the editing box-like section on that page, is there any writing that says something like: if this file were writable you could edit it
To go along with KatGirl on this, make sure you do have it uploaded right:

Make sure the theme’s folder is chmod 755:

Theme files, to edit them via the Theme Editor are 666:

I know ya said about changing permissions for them, but, just want to double check, and make sure you’re doing the permissions properly.. =P =)

Hey, thanks for the prompt replies! I’m sorry if I was unclear. I meant that I am unable to change anything without going into theme editor. I understood that, with guru manager, you could change certain things such as color, nav bar, etc, through the link on the blog page (after logging in, of course). I see these links and click on them but no page appears to allow me to change anything. These links do not work for me.
Thanks again for your efforts.
Kay
I tried emailing you twice, via your blog..but it came back, that it couldn’t be sent. =( If you want, please drop a line here, and I’ll *try* and help you with it. =)
