• Hey, I’ve been looking for a solution to this problem, and I’ve been unable to find one so far.
I installed a new version of wordpress in a subdirectory on my hosting. My main website is at andhedrew.com, and the new website is at andhedrew.com/fitap.
I changed the domain name to create a separate website, but when I tried to go to the plugin page to install some plugins, it 404ed. Here’s what I’ve tried:

    1. Updated my main site and deactivated ALL plugins
    2. Reinstalled wordpress on my new site
    3. Repaired databases on both installations

But still plugin.php and theme.php go to 404 pages, or – strangely – redirect to a different page on my main website.
My main website’s theme php is also now a 404 page.
I’ve installed other parallel wordpress installations in this way – any help would be great.
