Latest posts not showing on Blog

We are very new to WordPress and our Blog. Have added a new post via the admin site earlier today and made other adjustments, but they are not all showing when we access the Blog via the URL that friends and family will use. The latest post is not showing at the top of the home page, and can only be accessed by looking at the comments for the post that is at the top of the home and then following the right arrow to see the latest post. Have no idea why this is happening.
Also, photos that have been added to the Gallery today are not present on the Blog when accessed by the URL, but are there when we logon as an administrator.
PLease help!

That is the link I have been using. Yes, Jan 3rd is the last post but when I follow the link tyat post is not there. The one I see is from 29th December. What is going wrong?

You mean click on the link?

That is your websites url and the January 3 post is there. You need to clear your browsers cache or try a different browser.

Regarding your last couple of posts: no there is no special url for family etc, just the one link that you sent me that I am using. When I say ‘follow the link’, yes I mean click on the link or type it into my browser. I still can not see the Jan 3rd post. Can you please look at the ‘Gallery’ and tell me how many pictures there are there – there should be 3 but I can only see 1. Just want to know if you can see everything that should be there.

I see 3 posts on the home page, including one dated Jan. 3.

There are 3 photos.

You don’t need caching software for your site. WordPress does fine without it especially with small blogs. It just adds another layer of unnecessary
complication.
