Password incorrect | WordPress.org

The installation gave me a username “admin” and password “8*****”

The * is for numbers so you don’t see it.

It gives me an incorrect password error, and I’ve had this happen on two installations now

What can I do?

ok I solved the problem, the link helped some…I noticed the password as little squares, and thought…ahh the wrong unicode….

Anyways now I can’t see the server via internet.

http://70.161.85.116:4389/wordpress

And that port is not blocked.

I see the site. Granted, it’s all borked up since you’ve set “localhost” in the URI fields at Options -> General …

i could change my password but i still get

Error establishing a database connection

how do i tell my site that the password has change?

i changed the password in my php config. using fetch
then i could see my site.
