User integration between WordPress and BBPress

I’ve recently begun using WordPress, and I’m looking for a way to add a forum to my site that shares the same user accounts (and permissions) as the blog itself. I’ve tried installing BBPress, but right now its user accounts are still separate from the original installation.

Can anyone tell me if there’s a way to make WordPress and BBPress share the same user accounts? And if not, can anyone suggest a forum software that has this feature?
