Box not showing up
-
Hi, I’d like to use this plugin, however it does not show up when enabled.
I have set all the options and have tried changing them, but i still can’t get the box to show up.
I’d appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Hi there, got an URL for me to take a look at? Most likely some other script is throwing a fatal JavaScript error, blocking the box script form doing its job.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Site is new and I’m just setting it up so hopefully it’s not too difficult to figure out the problem.
The URL is http://www.viralflo.comThanks for your help!
It seems to be working for me in the latest version on Chrome. It appeared after I scrolled about 80% down on the front page.
Which browser are you using?
Ah sorry, I was changing themes when you checked.
I realized it works on other themes but doesn’t work on the theme I’m using.
This is the theme I’m using https://github.com/drewsymo/Foundation
Can you check the site again?
Thanks
Hi there,
For some reason, the box is showing up in the HTML source but the JavaScript file is not being loaded in the footer. I’m not entirely sure what could be causing this as the necessary theme tags seem to be there in the theme but could you give the development version of the plugin a try?
Let me know if that worked for you. 🙂
Hi there,
I just took another look at the theme. The developer is deregistering
jquerywhich is necessary by the Scroll Triggered Boxes plugin. Not much I can do about that, sorry… Best thing you could do is to ask the developer to not de-register it.That helped a lot. I fixed the deregister issue.
One last thing.. is there a way to make the box disappear when the user scrolls up again?
Thanks a lot for your help!!
That’s something I needed some input on in another topic, will add it to the plugin as an option if I find the time.
Danny,
I’m also having an issue of it not showing up. But I don’t know code like amak15 so can’t dig in and fix it.
If you get a chance can you tell me if my theme is an issue as his was?
http://www.ericdeeter.com. If I have to find a new theme how will I know if the jquery is present? Thanks,
EricHi Eric,
Are you self-hosting your blog? Something strange is happening with the plugin stylesheets.

Not sure what could be causing this actually..
Danny,
Thanks for the fast response. My son is a web developer and set up the hosting for 3 WordPress sites on GoDaddy. Part of the reason was so he wouldn’t have to update our site all the time. He knew enough about WordPress to know I could learn to handle most of the changes.
ericdeeter.net is the address and ericdeeter.com points to it, if I remember correctly. But that may have changed.
I had a crash last night when I updated to WP 3.8. I didn’t deactivate my plugins first. I used FileZilla and deleted the contents of the folder and started over. But your plugin is a new add. (I didn’t re-install every one of the old plugins I had either.)
Don’t know if any of this helps.
Thanks
