I’m running WP 3.8, Related Posts plugin 3.3.
same here. First time use the plugin. I thought I was doing something wrong. Nothing shown when composing.
WP 3.8
I’m seeing a couple of warnings in Chrome’s console, one for loader.js (which prints “exiting” in the console), and another that has to do with JQuery (“event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.”).
Any word on this?
Hi!
Sorry for the late response!
Could be that our servers had a minor outage at that time. Does everything work okay for you now?
If not, could you share the url of your site with us?
Best,
Rok
Hi:
Thanks for answering. The URL is http://www.orlandoalonzo.com.mx.
Thanks in advance.
Looks like everything works well!
Best,
Rok
It’s not working in the editor, as stated above; when editing the post, all related posts and outbound links that showed below the editor are gone. It’s not front-end related, its in the admin.
Oh! Are they reporting an error or have they just disappeared?
If you could snap a screenshot, that would be most good.
Best,
Rok
Mine’s the same, have just gone to create new post, but no related posts options below editor.
Related posts on previous blog posts are still working, but i can’t add any new ones.
There’s no error, and unlike compute_cumbria, in my site it doesn’t show on any post anymore, whether is new or edited.
Like I said in comment #4 there’s a message in Chrome ‘s console which could be of some help with the issue.
Hi!
I have some news. We actually removed the feature for non-english blogs since the widget doesn’t work very well with non-english languages.
Hope you understand!
Best,
Rok
Ok, it’s your plugin and you can do whatever you want with it…however I never experienced any trouble with the plugin; I didn’t had much use for the related posts feature since they’re in english and my blog is in spanish, but outbound links worked very well. I honestly think you should leave it to the users, I mean, it’s up to them to install something that doesn’t work 100% in their languages.
Thanks anyway.
it appears to have fixed itself on my blog, as the widget is now showing again.
