Sitemap does not work

    I am using this plugin for the first time for a new site that I am building. I enabled the sitemap feature but the sitemap does not seem to work in this plugin. When I access the URL, I get this error:

    error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
