I renamed my login page but i couldn’t get further than “server error” of “page not found” after upgrading to WP 3.8
I removed the plugin via FTP and it works again with the old wp-login.php

I’ve not encountered something like that before. Did you get those errors just for the login screen? Could you try the new version (1.9) again on 3.8?
