Humm, I see under edit themes –
‘Templates
This child theme inherits templates from a parent theme, Twenty Twelve.’
Does this mean Harmony 2.0 is the child? It’s a bit confusing for a newbie. Can someone explain?
Thanks!!

Harmony 2.0 is the Child Theme, look at the theme on WordPress.org and to the right it has a button named, “Parent Theme”: http://wordpress.org/themes/harmony-2-0

Ok! I went there and it’s what I was guessing. In your opinion should I make a child of the harmony…. seems like when they update Harmony I may lose some things. I don’t want to do that as I’m hoping to pass this site along to the owner once it’s finished.

I’m not sure if you can make a Child Theme of a Child Theme, which modifications were you planning on making?

I’l like to remove the ‘harmony logo’ at the top and make the whole top one image.
Also it will be a static site to I’d remove any comment areas, search bars etc if there are any.
By the way, thanks for your quick reply!

I don’t think you can. From what I’ve heard, the best way around it is to change the name (make it your own child theme of the parent) – and assume that updates to the parent theme will cover whatever needs to be updated.
