    I’m a newbie and I suck.

I’ve struggled with creating a website in WP since day 1 and just when I make progress, I manage to change something a screw it up.

I made several changes today in attempts to go from .wp to .com and I’m now unable to access the WP Dashboard even through the admin URL.

    Please be kind –

    URL: enjoymtvernon.com

When you say you made changes in attempt to go from .wp to .com, do you mean you changed the WordPress address (URL) & Site Address (URL) settings in admin at settings=> general
    from http://enjoymtvernon.com/wp to http://enjoymtvernon.com ?

If not, can you outline what changes you made?

There are several methods you can use to change the values back to how they were previously, you can find details at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

Most of the original issues are due to the site and WordPress being set up on the clients ISP server.

Rather than try and backtrack to identify and correct each change, I am simply going to rebuild the site on my HD and upload through WAMP using traditional methods.

    Thanks cubecolour!
