Setting Title Class

Hello,

I am having an issue with getting the short code to add a class to the title. It was my understanding that adding this code [catlist id=6 content=yes title_tag=a title_class=title ] would add a tag to the a class. Unfortunately, this is only adding another a tag, with nothing in it. Does anyone know how to get a hold of the title tag? I need to format it.
