Does Redirection handle incoming .asp and .php extensions?

I am replacing two non-WordPress websites. One is done with .ASP file extensions the other in .PHP file extensions. Will this plugin handle a request such as “/about-us.asp” or “/about-us.php” to “/about-us”?
