Paid Themes

Hi- Is it true that if i use a paid for buddypress theme, i can’t ask questions in the forum?

Do you think it is wise for someone skint and unable to do anything but all their own coding to use a paid for theme ($55).

I have used wordpress before. I’m new to buddypress.
