    Sorry, the error is not on install – it happens when I try to activate the plugin.

    It does not record anything in the error log when this happens.

    we are using CloudLinux PHP Selector on our sever and I just realised that’s it’s not working properly, so we are NOT running PHP 5.5, we are in fact running 5.2.17, so please ignore my report above.

    I will give it another go once we have the PHP version issue resolved.

    I am having this same issue. First was getting the PHP 5.3 error. Checked my PHP and it’s 5.4. Attempted to look at the .htaccess file just in case and it says the same.
