Twitter Popup appears twice

Hello. Great plugin. I was able to manipulate the CSS to display some custom images that I created, however the Tweet popup window seems to be popping up twice when you click on the share button. I tried this with default settings too and the same thing happened. Do you know why this would be happening?

UPDATE: The other buttons seem to also not be working and just bring up a white popup. Below is one of our articles where you can see the share buttons implemented.

Hi there,

Not sure why this would be happening. It also happens when you include the sharing buttons just once?

There are some scripts on your page throwing errors but that shouldn’t affect the script of my social sharing plugin.

I will do some local testing to see if I can pinpoint the issue. Let me know if you discover anything that might help me track down the issue please.

Hi, yeh I removed one set of them, but still the same thing. Not sure what is causing it.

Okay I will have to remove the plugin for now then. Let me know when its resolved and I will be able to re-enable it on our site.

Hi there,

It is, not 100% sure if it will fix your issue though. Thought I replicated it but apparently I didn’t. Still looking into it as soon as I have some time this week!

I tried the new version and it still does not work. I guess we will use something else…

Hi Searchbuzz,

I’ve been looking into it but it appears to be a theme / plugin conflict. It’s quite hard to replicate, which makes it even harder to fix.

So right now, no update from my side yet. Sorry.
