Hi,

I’m using Background Manager to insert an advertisement (a jpg image) sent to me. I have a script tag that needs to be inserted so the company can keep track of the clicks.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Background Manager uses the Google Analytics API to track background clicks, but does not provide an option to add your own tracking code from the administrative interface – instead you would have to make some changes to the JavaScript code, namely in /plugins/background-manager/resources/js/pub.dev.js and its compressed counterpart pub.js. A tip: Background Manager will use “pub.dev.js” when WP_DEBUG is set to true in the wp-config.php file.
