• I’ve been trying for two days to even get past the installation “easy” instructions to no avail. I’m not sure that I understand what the wp_configure step is asking for or not because when I plug in the information that I think it is I always get the same page. Here is the link of where I’m trying to make things work:
    http://www.thedigidiva.com/dd/wp-admin/install.php

I downloaded the thing from my sql but at this point I’m not too sure what to do with it, I don’t think that I had to choose a username when installing it.

    So confused!

  • Your MySQL database is behind a username and password so that other people on your server can’t access your data.

It’s the MySQL username and password that you need to enter in wp-config.php.

So I should upload the MySQL database onto my site then, I haven’t done that yet so thank you! Do I put it behind a username/password like a regular password gate or is there something in the mySQL that I use to set that up?

    Thanks!

Oh yeah! I’d forgotten about that service. Yeah, go for that, they’ll do it for you 😀
