Auto-Link?
-
I WAS using InfoLink to be able to link words or things within my blog entries to Wiki, IMDB, etc. and it was really pretty cool. It would allow me to go back through a draft and highlight a word that maybe I wanted the definition of it, the link to its url, etc. I could then click on the special link button and it would let me check off what type of url to attach to word highlighted… it would search against Google for website-based urls, etc.
I really liked this plug-in, but I guess since WP has been updated, it is no longer working.
I have tried to find plug-in’s that either worked as good, or if not better. I downloaded SEO Auto Links. It is a really good auto-linker for linking up category words, tag words, etc. But I am trying to find a plug in, or combination of that is the LEAST time-intensive. Is there any plug-in, even if it’s something I would need to pay for, that is pretty smart on it’s own and will auto DEFINE words? Or if it doesn’t auto-DEFINE a particular word, I can manually link the word and then any other future references of it will auto-link and define it?
The SEO Auto Link is a pretty good tool for just SEO optimizing and linking up tags to other posts with those tags, categories, etc. But I am looking for something that will DEFINE things. Like my blog for example is real medical-terminology based… so I would like to be able to type the word “osteomyelitis” and then have it either a hovered-over definition pop-up and from there on out, when I type that word, it defines what “osteomyelitis” is.
