Just a check box not dropdown

    Hi there – thanks for this simple plugin! I’ve been using it for a little while now but I’m afraid I don’t like the recent changes.

    There used to be a simple check box BEFORE the post comment button (good), now there’s a dropdown with multiple options but displayed AFTER the post comment button (not good).

    1. People will have posted the comment before they get to the dropdown options.
    and
    2. A drop down is two clicks compared to just one with a check box. I know… small things matter.

    Can I get the older version with just the check box somewhere?

    Hello,

    The older version of this plugin was not correctly sending email notifications.
    As WordPress version changes, we sometimes need to change the code of our plugin to make it compatible with newer WordPress versions.

    I can give you the older version of this plugin but it won’t work properly. I suggest you use the newer version as you will be able to install all new updates to the plugin.

    I will check this. If it can be done, I will add an option to display the drop-down menu before or after the submit button.

    2. A drop down is two clicks compared to just one with a check box. I know… small things matter.

    Users now have more options to choose from. They can choose to receive email notification whenever a new comment is posted or they can choose to receive only comment reply notification or not receive any notifications. The best way to give they options to users was to use drop-down menu.

    Thanks for your quick reply. I’ll leave the plugin version as it is then and will look forward to more updates. If you are able to put the dropdown before the submit button I will consider this problem resolved. Thank you.

    Hello,

    You now have the option to show the drop-down menu below Comment-Submit button or above Comment-Text area [below URL field].

    Please update the plugin
