• Hello,

    I started my website over so that I can make changes in a child theme. I created a new directory next to my parent theme and a new css file (style.css) with this inside:

    /*
    Theme Name: Thunder Child
    Theme URI: http://www.valtigo.com/
    Description: Child Theme based on Thunder
    Author: Steven J. Brown
    Author URI: http://www.valtigo.com/
    Template: wpex-thunder
    Version: 1.0
    */

    @import url(”../wpex-thunder/style.css”);

    When I activate the child theme it looks like this “valtigo.com” nothing at all like what the parent theme “Thunder” from themeforest looks like.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    -Steven

  • Looks like those are curly quotes in the file path here:

    @import url(”../wpex-thunder/style.css”);

    Try changing that line and make sure you’re using " "

    I think that fixed it.

    Thank you very much for your help.
