Sampression Lite – Plugins not working

    I am not able to install any plugins after activating Sampression Lite theme. In fact my old plugins such as “Get Social” and “Akismet” are also not working.

    Try deactivating the theme and switching to a default theme to see if that fixes the problem.

    It’s not solving the problem even with the default theme. When I try to install it again it says – it’s already installed (though I can’t see this in the plugins list).
