What is this ajax-admin.php?

    hi all

    i have search the forum about this php file but i don’t see any solutions so far. sorry i have to create a new thread

    i have 2 wp themes (both using woocommerce tough not sure if this is related to this issue)

    both showing long access time for ajax-admin.php (2 – 3 secs)

    any idea what is this for and how to resolve the speed issue?

    That’s a core WordPress javascript.

    any idea why it takes so long to complete the task?

    any recommendation to reduce the time?

    Could be an issue with your theme or a plugin. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
