Spam attack – help me

    My WP blog was attacked by spammers over the weekend. They’re still going after my blog and I cannot stop them. I’ve tried to disable comments but the spammers are still able to comment.

    Under Options then General I have unchecked Anyone can register (next to Membership). Users must be registered and logged in to comment is checked.

    Under Options then Discussion I have unchecked “Allow people to post comments on the article.”

    Yet the spammers are still able to leave comments. How can I stop this?
