Open post menu by default

By default, when you log into wordpress the first time and write a post, all the post menu items (categories, post name, etc.) on the right side are closed. I’d like to have them open by default, as it seems like many people who post for the first time overlook those options too easily. Can anybody tell me what I can do to achieve that? I assume it must be somewhere in wp-includes/js/dbx.js – but even after playing around for quite some time I couldn’t make it work properly. (I was able to keep it open by force, but that broke the closing function.) Any help would be appreciated!
