Is it possible to import existing comments from WordPress into Moot?

Not currently but the import feature is definitely on our roadmap.

So what happens to our existing comments? (I have hundreds)

The existing comments are only hidden (with CSS). Nothing is removed. You can safely enable / disable Moot without any impact on the existing system.

So I can unhide them if I use this plugin?
