Here’s how I do it on my site:
<a href="#">completed work</a> Just use regular tags – where the pound sign is would be where you place the link to what you want linked…
And, there is no such thing as a stupid question π Hope that helps ya. No, go forth and kick some butt with wordpress
You can create a links page the same way you create any page. You can then either insert the links by hand but if you want WP to automatically generate the links for you, you need to create a links page template. You edit the template and insert the get links code and then upload the template to your theme folder and then tell the links to page to use the links template.
More information here:

Hope that helps!
my MistyLook theme has a links page template, in case you want to test it out !
Thanks.
Thanks for all the helps guys π I tried inserting the get links code on a regular page but it doesn’t seem to be working π I’ll try out some of the other suggestions, maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Thanks again π
From the Links tab in the admin section, you can create more link categories (just like blogroll, but with different names), then add links to them just like to blogroll.
Hi vkaryl, I’ve tried but for some reason the links won’t show up on one of the wordpress pages. Even the blogroll links won’t show up when I set them up on another wordpress page π
Okay, had a little brain bork there. So what you want to do is show them in a Page rather than your index or sidebar. In order to do that, you’ll need a “php executing” plugin. The codex has a list at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Posts_Formatting in which there are a couple or so that do this.
Once that’s installed, you can use <?php get_links_list(); ?> in any post or page to display your links list. You can see it in action here: http://vkaryl.net/pov/my-links/
[Just installed it to try while replying here. This is the plugin from http://bluesome.net/post/2005/08/18/50/%5D
Thank you so much vkaryl, I think I’ve got it working now π
You’re welcome. Sorry for being a space-brain earlier, good luck to you!
[Edit – oh hey, want to mark this one resolved?]
