Is WordFence really blocking users?

    I have the setting checked to block users after so many attempts. The strange thing is I will get an email every 5 minutes informing me the same IP is blocked. I have the block for 1 hour. Why am I getting this email every 5 minutes? I see under blocked IPs where the IP is indeed blocked. What gives? These emails are killing me.

    Hi,

    Please disable any notifications you don’t want in your alerts configuration on the Wordfence options page. It has nothing to do with the amount of time a user is locked out.
