Remove object and widen content

Dear Friends,

I have my website: http://andershasselstrom.com and I want to remove the green circle with the date in it. I want to do this, to make the content area wider so it is easier to read. Ideally, the content should be 1 cm more to the left so it spans over 1 cm more instead of having the green circle with the date in it.

What code snippet should I remove? Will the content move as it is deleted?
